What’s happening at PHAMEtastic 2023

Concert

Join us for an out-of-this-world concert hosted by our beloved emcees (and teachers at PHAME), Jason Rouse and Jessica Dart.

At 6:15, you can rock out with Chameleonica.

At 6:30, our main event begins with PHAME’s own Rock Ensemble, performing hits from Rihanna’s “Diamonds” to “Night Fever” by the Bee Gees.

Tickets are required to watch the performance—get yours today and join us in person or online.

Costume Contest

It’s your time to shine—PHAMEtastic wouldn’t be complete without our annual cocktail hour costume contest.

You can choose to dress like a star in the sky. Or as your favorite pop star. Or movie star. Or as the painting Starry Night. You could even come dressed as Mr. Vincent Van Gogh himself. It's up to you!

PHAME students will judge our costume contest, and you can immortalize the moment at our photobooth. If you’re joining us online, just email a photo of yourself in your costume—with Costume Contest as the subject line—to eliebert@phamepdx.org by 6:30 PM on March 9.

Raffle

Only 100 tickets will be sold for this year’s Beach House Raffle.

Each ticket gets you a chance to win a three night stay at the Oregon coast. You’ll enjoy exploring miles of beach where the forest meets the sea with this stay for up to six people in beautiful Waldport.

Our online auction is open to all! You can bid on our fabulous auction items or make a contribution to support PHAME here.

The auction opens Monday, March 6 at noon and closes Friday, March 10 at noon.

Make a Difference

PHAMEtastic is all about making a difference for all the talented stars at PHAME.

You can make your PHAMEtastic contribution here during the event, or if you’re attending in person, you can raise your paddle to ensure that adults with developmental disabilities have full, creative lives.

COVID-19 Safety

Please note: Proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 (including one booster, if eligible) is required at the door. Masks are highly encouraged when not eating or drinking.

Food and Beverage

Food is available for purchase. In addition to a full bar, Alberta Rose Theatre serves hot hand pies, snacks, sweets and non-alcoholic drinks, including coffee and tea.

All tickets include a drink ticket for a drink of your choice during cocktail hour. Patron Admission also includes priority seating and white wine and beer service during the concert.

Age restriction

This event is all ages, however anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Getting There

The #72 bus stops at Alberta Rose Theatre. The #17 and #70 stop a few blocks away. Free street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood.

Attending Online

Bid and enjoy the music from the comfort of your own home! Join us at 6:15 for our concert opener, Chameleonica, and at 6:30 for the main event.

Accessibility

Alberta Rose Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with wheelchair-accessible seating and restrooms. When purchasing tickets, please indicate how many people in your party use wheelchairs.

This event will include moderate to loud music and other sounds. A quieter alcove is available for guests needing to take a break.

We will have ASL interpretation, and the interpreter will also be viewable on the livestream.

We want you to come and enjoy the show! Patrons who need to vocalize or move around are welcome, and patrons are welcome to leave and return to the theater as necessary.
